Researching my grandfather above and after any information about his involvement with the Admiralty Inventions Board from the UK in 1916. He lived in Dannevirke and invented something to do with an aeroplane and was offered a position and to move to the UK to work for them. He turned this down in order to become a test pilot for the Royal Naval Air Service where he earned the rank of Flight Lieutenant. He flew 16 different aircraft through till 1918 starting with the Caudron G3 through to the Felixstowe F3.
