Mclauchlan in NZ

Hi i,m looking for details of my great granddad Peter Crerar Mclauchlan,s arrival in New Zealand from Pasily Renfrewshire Scotland,he was a son of Donald Mclauchlan who came from Perthshire,Donald was A son of Peter Mclauchlan.Or any other details on his/my family some surnames of my relations are Nunns-McMath-Shaw-Hamilton-Griffiths-Hansen and Gordon.I have traced the Nunns and the Hansen lines back to the 1600,s but am having no luck finding any more on my father,s line ie the Mclauchlan,s can anybody help? thankyou Peter Mclauchlan

Ref - Halcione arrived Wellington 14 July 1873 and passengers quarantined at Soames Island;
I have been looking for a passenger list as I believe this might be the ship that my Great Grandmother came to Nz on as she told my mother they were becalmed on the Sargasso Sea on the way out and then were quarantined on Soames Island; do you have a list?
Interestingly, she was the then only daughter of James and Elizabeth Hamilton - a family name in your message too, from Wishaw near Glasgow which I believe is Renfreshire also. Tks

The Hamiltons in my line were John & Christina (Dewar) John was possibley a Wheelright and there daughter Mary 1859-9/11/1925 married my great great great grandfather Donald Mclauchlan 24/10/1881 this was all in Scotland Renfrewshire Pasily were they are both buried at Woodside cemerty with there surname unfortunatly miss-spelled! as Mclaughlan i belive but i do have a copy of there marrige certificate with the correct spelling at either 94 or 97 George street Pasily.That,s all i have on the Hamilton branch of my family i hope it is of some use.
