Hi new to the site and to genealogy so please forgive any missteps I may make.
The Joseph James Moyle born 1889 mentioned above is my Great grandfather. I have his parents down as Joseph James Moyle and Ellen Jenkins but they died in 1916 and 1917 respectively in WA aged 60 and 65(not Long Gully Vic) Their headstone is located in the Menzies cemetery.

I was wondering how the connection between Ellen Jenkins and Ellen Hayman was made? it makes sense as I can't find a marriage cert for Moyle/Jenkins only Moyle/Hayman but wanted to know how to find a supporting document, very new to all this
Kind regards
Melinda

Hello melmac.

To cut a long story short I was following the lines of two Joseph James MOYLES and must have mixed up my research notes at the time. Easy to do when searching for two names the same. It has taken most of the day to search the records again and I have now corrected Joseph and Ellen's family record.

I did not located a marriage for Joseph and Ellen in Victoria, but have not searched in the other states as yet. Will let you know if I locate their marriage. Thank you for bringing the error to my attention.

Cheers.
