My 3rd great-grandfather was born somewhere in England 1761/1762. He married Sarah Ody on 19 May 1796 in St. James Church, Bristol. I have not been able to find any record of his baptism or the names of his parents. Can anyone help? :: FamilyTreeCircles.com Genealogy

I don't think so. My Samuel was a "warehouseman". His wife was Sarah Ody. In 1799 when their first child was born they lived in Bethnal Green, a suburb of London.

please can you tell us the names/dates of children, the Samuel I found had a son called Charles Ody Rooks and on his London freedom of the city papers Charles named his father as Samuel Rooks a Silkman
