Looking for Nancy Carolin Addison.Born 1856 in St Tammany Louisiana. She had One daughter Alice Thomas.Also lived in Tangipahoa Parish. She Married Brannson Spiers,Aug 31 1888, Hancock Mississippi.They had one son.McNeil Mississippi was thier home till she died 29 Nov 1903.

Have never been able to connect her to her parents, but the best case I've found is a nancy c., age 6 on the 1860 Tangipohoa parish. LA census. Her parents are listed as Thomas (b. 1797) and Sarah. Cannot find other records on them though. If you have info, please share.
noggin on 2013-08-25 06:49:42According to the 1900 census Nancy had 3 children 1 of them died. You say she had one daughter Alice Thomas, is this her maiden name and is the surname Thomas or is it Alice Thomas Addison. If its Thomas does this mean Nancy had been previously married.
In the two census the places of birth for the parents are different. Do you have Nancy's birth/marriage certs, does it show parents names?

Thomas ADDISON (b.1797) m. Sarah ANDERSON (widow BISHOP) on 27 May 1832 in St. Tammany Parish, LA & had issue: James, Susan, John, Sarah, Elizabeth, James (yes, another James) and Nancy.
Thomas was a son of John ADDISON & Margaret ABBOTT. He died by 29 March 1834.
I am descended from Margaret ABBOTT's sister, Rebecca ABBOTT...AND John ADDISON's brother, Thomas A.P. ADDISON.
