NEWBEGIN of Norwich

Keith Dennes NEWBEGIN, (Wife Una WALKER) son of Edward Dennes NEWBEGIN (wife Ada GUNNING), son of Edward Joseph NEWBEGIN (wife Marina WARNE), son of James NEWBEGIN (wife Susannah DAVIDSON), son of William NEWBEGIN (wife Mary SMITH).

Edward Joseph and James were tobacco manufacturers and the factory in Norwich that James ran is now the Bridewell Museum.

Edward J moved to Sunderland in Durham and 4 of their 5 sons were born there. Edward Dennes NEWBEGIN married Ada, and eventually moved to London.

Ada moved out to Australia in the 1930s with her son Theodore. Her son, Keith NEWBEGIN had previously immigrated to Australia in the 20's. He met Una WALKER and they were married at the old township of Tallangatta in the NE of Victoria in 1931, before the town was submerged by the Hume Weir.
