Owen Thomas Rodda
The information that you have posted is not quite correct - Owen Thomas Rodda married Elizabeth Frances Plunket in Adelaide on 14 October 1914. She died 29 April 1972, so he was only a relatively new widow when he passed away.
There was no marriage to an Ada Roberts.

If Owen RODDA married Elizabeth PLUNKET it was after Ada's death in 1947.
Have no idea where you obtained the marriage date of 14 October 1914 from.
Hi there - I am new to Family Tree Circles
I later posted a comment under your Rodda page saying that since the above post, I spoke with family members who told me that Owen and Elizabeth met around the time that Ada died. We are unsure of the date of their marriage - think between 1947-50 - but unable to confirm because records are not public in SA for 75 years after the marriage. I will take a look at the index to the Advertiser next time that I am at the SA Genealogy rooms.
Elizabeth Frances Plunket was my great aunt, known as Jo (after the character in Little Women). She died 29 April 1972 at Adelaide Hospital - born in Melbourne. She was a milliner before she married.
Have not located a marriage for Elizabeth PLUNKET to a MILLINER to date. Where and when did they marry?
As per my above post - you misunderstand my post. Jo was single until she married Owen in her 50s and her occupation was a milliner (hat maker). She was born 20 October 1895.
Thank you PamelaM.
I have since updated my journal and included Elizabeth as Owen's second wife. Will let you know if I ever find their marriage date.
Cheers.
Sorry PenelopeM.
Did not mean to name you as PamelaM in my reply above.
I have a cousin named Penelope but she is better known as Pamela and whenever I hear the name Penelope I always think of Pamela. No harm done but it never hurts to say sorry.
