It has been pretty much accepted that the parents of Charles Burgie (1833) where Joseph Burgie ( 1791 approx ) and Marie Ganamote dit Beaudoin, yet on the death certificate of Charles ( D.O.D apr 29 1912, cause of death falling down stairs while intoxicated ) it lists Joseph as his father and for his mother it says christian name unknown, surname La Roujeau , so it appears Marie may not have been his mother .. any information would be appreciated ...
