REDDROP William and Margaret WILLIAMS arrived in Australia 1863

William REDDROP and his wife Margaret (nee WILLIAMS) and their eight children arrived in Victoria, Australia on the Great Britain in April 1863.

The REDDROP family were recorded on the 1863 passenger list as follows.

William - aged 43 years.
Margaret - aged 45 years.

Elizabeth - aged 23 years.
Margaret - aged 22 years.
Ann - aged 20 years.
Charles - aged 19 years.
William - aged 16 years.
James - aged 14 years.
Richard - aged 9 years.
Frances - aged 7 years.

Nine children located for Richard and Margaret.

Joseph REDDROP
.
Born: circa 1837 Cheshire, England.
Died: 1923 Essendon, Victoria.
Aged 86 years.

Joseph arrived in Australia ahead of his parents and siblings on the Great Britain in 1861 aged 24 years and is not included on the passenger list. I expect he came out before them to find work and living quarters for his family. Their was also a C REDDROP, aged 19 years, recorded on the Great Britain but I have not confirmed if they were related.
