This family was originally from Bern, Switzerland.
Ulrich Langenegger born in Langnau,Bern in 1664 and died in Lancaster Pennsylvania on the 14 November 1752. He married twice, his first wife was Anna BLASER 1673-1749 he married in Langnau Switzerland on 12 January 1694. Children from this marriage were;_
Peter Longacre 1694 ? 1792 Ulrich Blaser Langenegger 1696 ? 1710 David Longenecker 1697 ? 1766 Anna Langenegger 1698 ? 1759
Abraham Langenegger 1705 ? Daniel Longacre 1705 ?
Elizabeth Langenegger 1706 ? Barbara Langenegger 1708 ?
Magdelina Langenegger 1709 ? Catherine Langenegger 1710 ?
*Ulrich Longnecker 1711 ? 1793 Jacob Longacre 1714 ? 1795
Veronica Langenegger 1715 ? Maria Langenegger 1716 ?
Michael Langenegger 1716 ? Christian Langenegger

Your Catherine LONGENECKER born in Washington 1769 the granddaughter of Ulrich and the daughter of his son Peter LONGANECKER 1735-1785 and Barbara Billmeyer b:1741 d: ?? There is some controversy about her marriages and whether or not she married a Jacob HEiNS but it is likely she married Abraham WINTERS 1773-1844 in 1794 in Pennsylvania, the children of this marriage were :-

Jacob Winters 1797 ? 1862 Ann Winters 1800 ? 1871
John Winter 1805 ? David Winter 1808 ?
Catherine Winters 1813 ? 1891

I don't know when Catherine died. Somebody has a copy of Barbara Billmeyer's will that does not acknowlege WINTERS or the children and has HEINS as the husband and leaving her money to the children of Catherine and HEINS. You will have to really research this you need certificates. However, all is correct up to the point of Catherine's marriage.
