He (b. 6 Nov 1838)was married to Carrie M Holley (b. 16 Sept 1848 in Berte Co, NC; father Augustus Holley) They had several children: Orton Oredo, Fredro Gilbert, Holley Tarrida, and Bessie.

Bessie Winkfield married James E. Dunn and lived in Quincy, Ma.
Brothers Fredro and Tarrida may have lived in Boston or Middlesex,Ma.
