Hello

My name is Tony Hubbard and I have been researching my family tree for sometime now.

The name Hubbard comes from the name Hubert. The Name is linked strongly to the ares of Leicestershire, England. Many Hubbard's in the 1800's were involved in farming, infact my family of Hubbard's were based in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, England, where they owned farms and seed warehouses. Infact Hubbard's Seeds warehouse was famous and exported worldwide. The Hubbard's Seeds warehouse has now been converted into the 'Hub' crafts centre [see: www.thehubcentre.org].

I don't know what line you decended from, but I hope this infomation helps you find the direction.
