Richard D. Stout

Journal by WickeDawn75

I am new to this, I was speaking with my GranMother the other day about our family history. She told me very interesting facts about her family but was unable to give me any information about my fathers side. So here I am, looking for information about my Stout family history. I know that this will take some time but I want to learn as much as I can about my fathers family history. So if anyone out there has any information they would like to share I am all ears..

You didn't say where your Stout family came from. I am descended from the Stout family that eventually settled in and around the Morris Co., TX. area.

I am also a Stout , my ancesters came from Baden,Germany abt.1846 to Ohio. Original spelling was Staudt, changed to Stoudt(my grandfather)
John Staudt married Maria Eva Bumann befor 1846 in Germany. Does this strike an interest?

I also came from the Stout lineage - Richard Stout (my 11x great grandfather) came from Nottingham, England in 1644. My lineage order is John (Richard's father), Richard, David, Freegift, James, Elijah, Judiah, Elijah, Benjamin, Jesse C. Richard & Penelope were among the first families to settle in Middletown, Monmouth County, New Jersey - from there their childrens' children moved to Kentucky & Missouri.
If I can be of any help - please let me know

OK, well I know that they are from Ohio. My father lived in Columbus, as did his parents.
