Samuel TATHAM of the Wairarapa, New Zealand

Samuel Tatham was born in about 1857
- research continuing on where he was born and who his parents were
- he married Jane GRAHAM (1854-1937) in 1881
- she was born in Australia
- he died on the 2nd February 1923
- he is buried in the Old Gorge Cemetery in Woodville

- Samuel & Jane had a son, John Graham (he used his mothers surname)
- In 1937 he was living in Ohakune

- a daughter, Lillias married Charles KERR and lived in Rotorua until 1937 after then Lillias was a widow who lived in Omanawa Falls, Tauranga

Samuel was a horse trainer in Parkvale, Carterton, Wairarapa in 1905
It is possible Jane moved to Tauranga to be near/with her daughter Lillias after Samuel died.
Jane died 14 years after Samuel

Clara Cecelia Tatham (nee BUNNY) was born in 1848, died aged 80 on 4-12-1959, buried PLOT CCT of Archer St Cemetery, Maserton
- she was married to John Harding Tatham who died of malaria in WWI (October 1918) and is buried in the Ramleh War Cemetery, Israel

Frederick Bunny Tatham was born 1906 in Picton, lived at 20 Renall St Masterton, had been a farmer, died aged 66 at Whareama and was cremated at Kelvin Grove, Palmerston North
- he was a son of John Harding & Clara Cecilia Tatham
- he married Gwen Raema Read in 1929

Sheila Patricia Tatham (married name) was born 1925, lived in Palmerston North, was an Accounts Clerk, died aged 74 in Palmerston North Hospital, ashed buried PLOT 009, BLOCK 12A at Kelvin Grove

Eliza Phillipa Tatham was born in the 1840s
- she married in Homewood, Masterton in 1869 to John Emanuel von Tunzelman, run holder, teacher, missionary
- there was a book written on the von Tunzelman STRANGERS and PILGRIMS
- Homewood, Masterton was also where John Harding Tatham (above) had been farming prior to going to war

- Elizabeth Ann Tatham born 1871
- George Ernest Tatham born 1902
- Edith May Tatham born 1906
- were all cremated at Karori
