Searching for information for Elizabeth See

Journal by maxine06

Elizabeth See b 26 Feb 1754 in Hardy, West Virginia d 1791 in Adams Ohio
d/o Frederick Michael See & Catherine Vanderpool. I have seen a report saying Elizabeth See was married to Chief Cornstalk. Was Elizabeth See Indian name Helizikinopo? I am confused. Is there anyone who could help me to get this puzzle straight? Or were there more than one Chief Cornstalk?
Help with this would be so appreciated, thanking you in advance.

i am new to this search site maxine06 but have been sucessful with several geneaology lines and am now embarking on a new one with the Vanderpool lineage and hope I am sucessful with this as well. I am the grandson of a Beaulah Vanderpool from Tennessee whom I'm told her family came out of NY state. I had always heard that we are linked to Cherokee descent and if you were to see and meet my dad you would see how true that is but I have also seen several Vanderpool searches where they show us being related to several Indian tribes and types which I always wondered why I had such compassion for the American Indians. At any rate contact me as I am speaking with a cousin who is a Vanderpool tommorrow from Nashville whom I'm told from my Dad is well versed in the geneaology of the Vanderpool's since he are one! thanks and keep searching and look for my posts or e-mail me anytime.
