I am researching the family of John and Abigail (Minard) Mills, who settled in Sparta, Ontario Canada and are buried in Sparta Friends Cemetery. John's dates are 1770-1861 and Abigail is 1770-1864. They had a son, Cornelius (1788-1840) who married a Matilda Beadle and had (among others) daughters Phoebe and Priscilla.

Phoebe married Samuel Haight of Sparta, and Priscilla married John Darling.

Priscilla and John's two older children were apparently taken in by the Haights per the 1861 census. My question: What happened to John and Priscilla, and why are there zero records? Well, John has one tentative census record with his son Thomas in Middlesex County, 1861. But what happened to them?
