Unable to confirm the wife of George Furniss(father of George born Sheffield 1818/19. Possible three women, but no trace of a son George. Have been searching for several years. Would appreciate any help. DorothyR.

Are you saying Father George Married Elizabeth Hallam b.1823. or George b 1818 married Elizabeth?

Thanks for your response. George born 1818 married Elizabeth in 1843. His father is stated as George on their marriage cetificate. As there are several Georges b.around 1790 I am unable to prove which one is his father as I do not know his mother`s name.
