Thank you for your prompt reply.

Unfortunately, I have traced the Steve (Stephen) citation back to a census record after Nancy Jane and her sister Jane and families had moved to KY. Stephen Warner was listed as a single male living in the household and some researcher guessed it was their father. In fact, Stephen was a brother whose family had been killed in an Indian raid in Franklin TN. Afterwards he disappeared into the woods finally meeting up with his sisters some years later.

Your reference for Mother Jemima b 1773 is interesting. Nancy Jane was born in 1765. However, they had a sister named Jemima that could have been born in 1773. The 1826 death date is for the mother.

I have limited information on sister Jemima, I believe she married someone named Toole and moved to Pickaway Co, OH. I would be curious about your birth source.
