This is odd because parents are shown withe surname Davis

The actual register entry can be difficult to interpret - ( ancestry )
' William Davies Parry S (son) Wm Davies & Betty b 25th Nov (1786)'

There is no actual surname for Betty and I suspect they are of northern Wales origin,but have no other info.The name Betty is probably short for Elizabeth.
Any suggestions appreciated.

re: your research on Hanslow,Ancestry has 2000 Hanslow's listed throughout Australia,and quite a few in the state of Victoria.
You will need christian names,and don't use the EXACT option.
