Simon WHALE and Emma Eliza CROPLEY were married in Victoria in 1908.

Simon died 1955 in Footscray, Victoria, aged 79 years.
Parents named as George WHALE and Susan unknown.

Emma, aka Emily, died 1916 in Clifton Hill, Victoria, aged 35 years.
Parents named as John Thomas CROPLEY and Sarah Ann DAWSON.

Four children located Victorian records for Simon and Emma.

Born: 1911 Baccus Marsh, Victoria.
Died: -
Married: Myrtle Doris KEWISH.
Year: 1937.
Place: Victoria.


Emma (aka Maisie) May WHALE.
Born: 1914 Baccus Marsh, Victoria.
Died: 1956 Melbourne, Victoria, aged 42 years.
Married: Harry WAGNER.
Year: 1941.
Place: Victoria.


Born: 1916 Baccus Marsh, Victoria.
Died: -

It's sometimes hard to sort things out from the records without obtaining certificates, but it does look like Simon remarried two more times after Emma's death.

Simon's second marriage was to Clara Priscilla Amelia PARSONS nee GADSDEN in 1919.
Their daughter, Rosena Florence WHALE, was born in Carlton, Victoria in 1920.
It looks like the marriage did not last because Clara died in 1950 at Parkville, aged 60 years.
She was recorded under the name DUNMORE.
Parents named as George and Amelia GADSDEN.

Simon's third marriage was in 1927 to Eva Rosina PREW.
Eva died 1979 in Baccus Marsh aged 88 years.
Parents named as John William Prew and Susan BROMLEY.
