She was married to maybe a Scottish trapper named Gordon last name? She was I was told Cherokee, but it may have been Osage prior to the trail of tears where I am told she and her husband traveled to Oklahoma. My mother said his first name maybe been john but no one is sure. We have a picture of sitting bull which they are sure is her name. She is I'm told a great grandmother who maybe been the mother of my grand.other's mother. Those names Re I think whorley

im from the united states....just here looking to find what I can if anything on a great great great grandmother who I was told was cherokee but mayve been more accurately osage, who started out in georgia but was forced out into the trail of tears to oklahoma. it is believed she traveled with a husband named gordon. im not clear if he was scottish or french or french canadian for some reason I think scots but im mnot sure why.

mothers family were french dads largely scots
