Journal by melissa

Am looking for Skinners from Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas in Kent England, from 1650 onwards.

Some of these Skinners emigrated to NSW Australia between 1830 & 1860.

Hi Alleycat, Thanks for you message. Don't know a lot on my Skinners at this stage but a
Peter Skinner rang me from Melbourne a couple of weeks ago & said he is related to my mother-in-law Patricia Maude Skinner from Fairlie and died at the age of 77yrs on 8 December, 1988. She was married to a Jeremiah William Skinner from Albury NZ> They lived in Timaru & raised their family there. Peter Skinner also said that their family was related to the Sunkells in Canterbury, NZ.
