* Alexander Martin Bergersen (1872-1958)
was a Railway Employee in Palmerston North
- married Edith Susan CAPPER 15 Dec 1894 in Palmerston North
there were no children. Edith divorced him in May 1916 (decree nisi Aug 1916) on the grounds of his misconduct. He had left her in 1904 and lived with another woman
- Alexander next married Annie Emily SMITH (1881-1949) 27 March 1915!

* Alfred David Bergersen (1883-1964)
born in Makaretu, Hawkes Bay, a son of Anders & Maria Sophia
- married Mary Freda 'Frances' Von PEIN (1883-1956) in 1904
- they had 2 known sons
they had 4 known children
Mary died 10 Dec 1956 & Alfred died Xmas Day 1964 in Wanganui

* Amelia Bergersen
- married William HANSEN in 1901

* Anders Bergersen (1857-)
son of Thorval Bergersen & Karin Hansdatter
- married Maren 'Marie' Sophia HANSEN 9 Nov 1880 in Makaretu, Hawkes Bay
they had 14 known children

- married William ABBOTT in 1922

* Bernard Oscar Bergersen (1868-1955)
- married Jessie Guy (1873-1955) in 1893

* Casper Thewell/Thorvel Bergersen (1869-1949)
born in Oslo, Norway, a son (twin with Karen) of Thorval Bergersen (1825-1881) & Karin Hansdatter (1828-1902), arrived aged 4 on the Hodvig with his parents & 6 siblings
- married Rose MacKay (1875-1958) in 1897
they had 8 sons & 7 daughters & are buried in Ohakune

* Eileen Isabel Bergersen (1898-1958)
daughter (twin with Joseph Edlin) of Anders & Maria Sophia
- married Zaki Saba (1897-1956) in 1916
in 1908 Zaki was in Standard III (Andrew Saba (1899-1984) was in Standard II) in Masterton. In Dec 1911 he was promoted to Standard V. In April 1917 he was charged in the Masterton Police Court with driving at an excessive rate of speed and was fined 10s. In Aug 1917 he was charged with failing to attended drill. Sergeant Major Voyce said he had called the roll but Zaki was not present. He said he was out of town. He was ordered to pay 7s cost. In April 1918 he was back in the Masterton magistrate's Court with failing to attend drill as required by the Defence Act and was fined 20s
NOTE, Andrew Saba was the Supervisor of the Devonport Post Office 1937-1943 and was then appointed Postmaster at Putaruru

* Harold Kenneth Bergersen (1894-1982)
son of Bernard Oscar Bergersen & Jessie Guy
in 1907 Harold was in Napier when he successfully passed the Junior National Scholarship
- married Ivy Myrtle WHITEHEAD (1893-1971) in 1916
daughter of Albert Edward Whitehead & Lilian sILBY
they are buried at Taruheru cemetery, Gisborne

* Hulda Lorense Constanse Bergersen (1878-1903)
daughter of Carl August Bergerseb & Karin Marthea Andreasdatter
- married Henry Herbert NEWPORT (1873-1958) 17 Aug 1898
Hulda died at her father's home in Palmerston North aged 24
- Henry next married Louisa Alice Clout in Masterton in 1908. Louisa left in 1913
- Henry next married Fannie Augusta Stanley (1874-1933, nee Horne, widow of George Henry Stanley, Sub Inspector of Police in Durban, South Africa)

* Ivy Mary Elizabeth Bergersen
daughter of Alfred David & Mary Frances
- married William George Towns in 1924

* Joseph Edlin Bergersen (1898-1965)
son (twin with Eileen Isabel) of Anders & Maria Sophia
- married Florence Muriel REYNOLDS (1909-1978) 4 Feb 1928 in Ohahune
born 24 Sep 1909 to John Reynolds & Elizabeth Plummer
- they also lived in Waipawa

* Karin Martea Bergersen (1846-1936)
nee Andreasdatter, first married Carl August Bergersen in Christiania (Oslo) in 1868
- married Bartholomew Hunt in 1922

* Marn 'Maren' Olava Bergersen (1864-1940)
daughter of Thorval Bergersen & Karin Hansdatter
- married Hans Hemmingsen in 1881 * had 4 known daughters

* Mathilda 'Matilda' Bergersen
- married Lars Peter HEMMINGSEN in 1885 & had 4 known children
Lars died on 6 March 1939 aged 73
Mathilda died 12 June 1944 aged 75 & cremated at Karori Wellington

* Olive Myrtle Bergersen (1899-)
daughter of Bernard Oscar Bergersen & Jessie Guy
- married David Reginald SAUNDERS (1888-1938) in 1922

* Rangna Dorelle Amelie "Doretta Amelia' Bergersen (1881-1929)

- married Wesley Courtney Woolhouse (1872-1959) in 1899 & had 5 known children
