Elizabeth Ann (Kescel also spelt Kestle later) married George Jordan 29th September 1853 in New Plymouth.
George Jordan and his twin brother John were born 7 August 1831 in Ashcombe Devon. They emigrated to New Plymouth on the Timandra (out of Plymouth, Devon) in 1842 aged 11 with their parents George and Tabitha Jordan. Travelling with them were step sister Mary Ann Quantick (15), younger sisters Elizabeth,(9) Bertha (7) and brothers David (4)and William. (2)

George and Elizabeth lived in New Plymouth and had 12 children: William (1853) George (1857) Mary (1859) Ellen (1860) David (1862) Alice (1864) baby girl lived 10 hours (1867) John (1868) Charles (1872) Elizabeth (1873) Frederick (1874) Annie (1876)

George died 7th May 1914 aged 84. Elizabeth died 3rd August 1914 aged 80 years.

I am a descendent of their son David. (my great great grandfather). While there is a lot of research on Jordan family, would appreciate any further information on Kescel family.
