REEVES, Charles Wellwood (1874-1963) sheepfarmer, Wharekaka, Tolaga Bay
- he was a son of Andrew REEVES & Margaret LIVINGSTON of Scotland
- his father emigrated on the Southern Cross into Wellington in 1857, his mother emigrated on the Nelson into Wellington in 1863
- He farmed at Tolaga Bay until 1925. He then bought 4003 acres, (1620 hectares) named Glenbrook Station, at Putorino, Hawkes Bay. He lived there for the next 30 years and later in life was cared for by the Maude family (his sister Mary Evelyn's inlaws)
- he was buried in the Tolaga Bay cemetery, Plot 14, Block Tol 17 on 24-6-1963. His headstone reads: In loving memory of CHARLES WELLWOOD REEVES, born 24 January 1874, died 24th June 1963
