I am a descendant of George Virgil Messer born in Hayward NC. His son, Elbert Messer was my grandfather, and my grandfather's sublings, among others, were Virgil, Frank, Marth, Weaver and Viola. I do know that my grandfather's step mother was Haseltine McAllister. I would love to share what I know and get info from others

I believe I am a descendant of Capt. Robert Messer. My grandfather's name is Clarence Elliot Messer. I hope I have gone in the right directions of descendants. Please let me know if you know anything.

My grandfather was Thomas Messer, born 1914-ish in N. Dakota, died 1974 in Yakima WA. Do not know parents or really any other info, I think there were 13 kids. Married Elizabeth Schmidt 1934-ish, came to Yakima and had 4 kids. Is there a "FREE" method of finding family information that you know of? I've never searched for this info before, and am wondering where to begin, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello all, I am also a direct descendant of Captain Robert Messer. My line comes from Christian Sargent Messer, to George W Messer to Daniel Alden Boone Messer to Elijah Marcus Messer on down. I have done extensive research for this line, and more than willing to share with anyone interested.

Hello to all of the Messer peeps :). I too have just started researching and have traced my ancestry to Capt Robert Messer. My grandfather was William Raymond Messer and he was married to Leona Sissom. Does anyone know where Capt. Robert Messer is from?
