William TONKIN, son of Henry TONKIN and Margaret GRANT was born near Woodside, South Australia in 1865. He married Ellen DENNIS at Port Broughton, South Australia in 1890. They had nine children in South Australia and another two in New South Wales.

10. Harold Broughton TONKIN b.1906 Inverell, New South Wales.
11. Halley George TONKIN b.1910 Inverell.

I have been in contact with a few of their descendants and they have been assisting me with my research. I'm still looking for further contacts. It's a very big family.
