Turnbull Family in Jedburgh

Hi i am looking for information on our family in jedburgh.
My great grandfather John Turnbull born 3 may 1866 married Helen stenhouse weatherston (son of William Turnbull and Mary Hardy)went to South Africa but i do not know anything off the family in the borders he left behin i know the names

any information will be greatfull or where i can find information.
i stay in edinburgh now and have done some research but not a lot of joy.

In Scottish 1871 census they were living at 6 Exchange Street, Jedburgh, Roxburghshire, Scotland
Turnbull, William, head, married, 45 (1826) Millwright, born, Jedburgh
Mary, wife, 43 (1828) born Southdean, Roxburghshire
William, son, 20 (1851) Tailor, Jedburgh
Hardie, son, 17 (1854) Drapers Assistant, Jedburgh
Annie, daughter, 15 (1856) Domestic Servant, Jedburgh
Mary, daughter, 10(1861), scholar Jedburgh
Elizabeth, daughter, 8 (1863) Scholar, Jedburgh
John, son, 4 (1867) scholar, Jedburgh
Isabella, 2 (1869) scholar, Jedburgh

In 1881 census they are living at 2 Pleasants, Jedburgh
William as above
Mary as above
Hardie as above
Mary now a Tailors Machinist
Elizabeth, a Mill Worker
John a Mill Worker
Isabella as above

In 1891 living at Exchange, Jedburgh
William is a widower
Lizzie Stevenson TURNER, is now a Housekeeper
John is a Coachbuilder

In 1851 Census William & Mary are living at 1 Smyths Wind, Jedburgh
William is a Joiner (Journeyman)
Mary as above
Jane, daughter, 2 (1849) Jedburgh
William was 4 months old

i went down there yesterday and could not find their graves but i know why now

Its the way they have marked the graves and additional info on doc i did not know.
I have found a bit more information on my family and went down to jedburgh to find the graves and see if i cannot get local info.

I did not know that journeyman is a joiner oops for me

I will be ready next time i go down there
