Walter BOYS, son of Thomas Mold BOYS and Sarah Jane HALE was born in Portland, Victoria in 1858, and died on the 10 July 1942 in Prospect, South Australia, aged 83 years.

Walter's first marriage was to Elizabeth SAUNDERS in Victoria in 1882. They moved to South Australia and had two children before Elizabeth died at Goodwood on the 20 June 1886, aged 26 years. She died six days after giving birth to her second child.

Walter's second marriage was to Marion Selina SAUNDERS. They were married in the Registry Office in Adelaide on the 19 March 1889.
Marion died on the 20 February 1949 at Prospect, South Australia, aged 82 years.
