Hi all,
I am researching Sweets of Tenn. They were mainly from the Anderson county and Claiborne county areas. I have been looking for several years for my 3x great grandfather David Sweet. From the information I have he lived in the above counties for many years raising 11 children. I can locate him and his family in the various census rolls but nothing about where he came from or who his parents were or from. Also nothing about his siblings if he had any. Would be greatfull for any assistance on this subject.
He was born in 1802 in Claiborne county and died in 1858 in Anderson county. In 1821 he married Highly Holton { Manila} and had his first child in 1822, William Riley Sweet....
