Hi. I am researching The Carkett name. Have some problems as the name has been spelt different ways. Also I feel it may have started as Kirkett or something similar. I have some information of a Baptism in Plymouth Devon in 12721 at Charles Church. This information was given to me by a friend who has passed away. I have no written record for this event.
