Looking for proof that James Waters Jr. b. abt. 1790 SC. is the father of William L. Waters b. abt. 1835 GA.
William L. Waters was b. 1835 GA and d.1863 in the Civil War in Vicksburg, MS. He married Jane H. Moore b. 1836 SC. They were married 1858 in Caroll, Co. GA. They had three children. John Robert Waters b.24 SEP 1855 Coweta, Co. GA., Sarah E. Waters b. 1858 Caroll, Co. GA. and Margaret Liza Waters b. 1861 Caroll County, GA.

I am researching my Waters line. The furthest we have been able to go back is to William L. Waters b. 1835 GA. d.Vicksburg, MS. during the Civil War. He was married to Jane H. Moore. The family started in Goergia, then migrated to Alabama, and then on to Missouri. I have alot of info to share but I also need to find out who William L. Waters Parent's were. He was orphaned as a child and was living with a Leslie family in 1850. This is the first trace we have of him and his siblings which are living with other Famalies around the Leslie Family William is with. I would appreciate any help.
