Charles Grafton Wilson born 1853 in Ohio. Moved to I believe Missouri and then Kansas. 1885 census shows him in Springhill, Ks. Does anyone have any information on him as to where he was born, or who his parents are? He married Harriet Elizabeth Ferguson
in Springhill, Ks and had one living child named Ethel Murnice Wilson. He died in Ogden,Riley, Ks in 1932, and he and Harriet (Hattie) are buried in Springhill cemetery with a child who died in infancy. Hattie died in 1917. Please, if you have any information on a Charles, with the middle name Grafton, please could you help me? He is my great grandfather and I don't know anything about him. I did find a Charles Wilson in 1880 and this Charles parents were named Porter Wilson. I don't know if this is Charles Grafton though. He was the only person that came us as born in Ohio about 1855. It says Porter was born abt. 1807 in Vermont.

If you only know that the person was born in the state, but not where, how do you find any answers, saying the person is born in 1853, then there is probably no birth certificate. I don't know the town or county.
Looking for parents of Charles Grafton Wilson born in Perry Co.(area of Crooksville) on May 3, 1853. I cannot find any info on his parents and death certificate says that they were unknown. I am wondering if they died when he was young. Charles went on to live in Springhill, Maimi Co. Kansas and is tburied there also. He died in 1932.Please, if you know of this Wilson in your family, please help me. This is my gg grandfather and I don't know anything of his parents or siblings or if he had any.
