"Looking for NOLAN / SCANLON of Ballyduff Ireland"

I am researching my grandmothers family. Catherine Nolan was born in Ballyduff on 12 June 1884 her parents were John Nolan and Mary Scanlon.

On checking Irishgenealogy.ie I found 3 of her siblings - Ellen (Ellie) born 2 Dec 1875, David born 5 Feb 1878 and Patrick born 9 March 1887 - all 4 were Baptised in Causeway Parish/Church/Congregation. With further checking the 1901 and 1911 Census I also found Michael born about 1890 and Mary born about 1893 - the 1911 Census states that John and Mary had 10 children and 8 were still alive - I haven't been able to find the other 4.

Catherine emigrated to Australia in 1902. Ellen (Ellie) married Thomas O'Carroll in March 1903 and had 3 children, the first died before 1911,the other 2 were - John born about 1906 and Michael born about 1909. As for David he doesn't appear on the 1901 or 1911 census with the family and apart from his birth/baptisim date that's all I have for him. I have found decendants of Patrick's family - they have only been able to help with that line. I believe Michael (Mick) and possibly a sister emigrated to Ohio USA shortly after 1911. Mick had a son who was in the DDay invasion, he survived the War only to die in a car accident.

I have found a John Nolan born 29 June 1844- Ballyduff - his parents Jeremiah Nolan and Ellen Pierse (Pierce) and Mary Scanlon born 18 Feb 1851 - Ballyduff - parents William Scanlon and Mary Fitzmaurice. I have also found a John Nolan and Mary Scanlon were married in 1875. This info seems to fit in with the other dates.

Would appreciate any information on ANYONE in this family.

Thank you

Lesley
