Looking for Rychling Relatives from All Over the World

My grandfather, Stephen Rychling was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, South America on the 1st of March 1903. His sister, Marie was born two years earlier also in Buenos Aires. Their father was Ludwik Alfred Rychling (believe the spelling was changed when entering US). Their mother was Paulina Sichoska. Ludwik was born 5 June 1873 in Trembowla, Austria and was an engineer. I have been told by some of his children that he spoke at least 5 different languages fluently. German, English and Polish definately. He and Paulina fled from Germany before January 1902. His father was Alfred Rychling and I have been told that Alfred was in the military in Germany. We know that Alfred died before 1902 in Germany. Alfred married Melvina Jarusiewicz b. abt. 1848 in Austria/Germany ??? and died 9 February 1920 in Willimantic, CT. She and Alfred had 5 children. When Ludwik and Paulina left Germany they traveled to South America where they lived for a few years. They left Port Santos, South America the 29th of April 1903 and arrived in New York the 20th of May 1903. They were detained for four hours at Ellis Island while they waited for Wesley Webb to deliver train tickets for the family to continue on to Dover, Delaware where work was waiting for Ludwik. The family came back to New York and opened their home for the rest of the family to come to America. I believe that Eugenia and Stanislav came next and then Melvina and the rest of the family. All lived in New York for a while. Ludwik and Paulina went to live in West Point, Virginia where 4 more children were born to them. Eventually they moved to Ashford, CT. Later the family departed ways. Stanislav and his family stayed in Ashford, CT. Ludwik and Paulina took their family and bought a huge farm house on Judd Road in Coventry, CT. Ludwik and Paulina stayed in Coventry and raised their children there. The farm house stayed in the family until the early 1970's when age and health forced their daughter, Marie Rychling Contos to sell and move to a small apartment in Willimantic, CT. Ludwik and Paulina's children were Marie b. 1902 & d. 1974 married John Contos, Esteban(Stepehen) b. 1903 & d. 1997 married Florence A. Kennerson, Jessie b. 1905 & d. 1976 married George Guay, Alexander b. 1908 & d. 1998 married 1st. Roselyn Buchanan married 2nd Mildred Moriarty, Victor b. 1912 (twin) & d. 2001 married Ruth Boynton, Eugene b. 1912 (twin) & d. 1998 married Elizabeth Reynolds.
Would love to connect with Rychling or Sichoska relatives.

The Messier Family and Other Connections!

My father, Charles W. MESSIER was born in Willimantic, CT, 11 Sept. 1927 to David MACHA and M. Malvina CLAING. He died 17 May 2006 in Coventry, CT. He was one of 13 children born to David & Malvina. Two sisters and a brother are still living.

David was the s/o George MESSIER AKA MACIA AKA MACHA and Marie Philomene BROUSSEAU. George was a veteran of the Civil War which he enlisted into from the state of Vermont. He and Philomene married in MA. David was one of 16 children born to this couple. A daughter, Marie Auxilla MACHIE b. & bapt. in 1879 in Fall River, MA. M. Auxilla AKA Ozelia married Joseph H. Perkins (b. 1872 in Niantic, CT, d. 1941 in New London, CT) 18 February 1895 in East Lyme, CT. This couple had at least 10 children. Their 1st daughter was Cora Rose Perkins. Cora married her 1st cousin, Joseph Edmond MESSIER (s/o George E. MESSIER brother of M. Auxilla and Rosalie DELUDE). Cora and Joseph had at least 3 children...Virginia, Nelson and Chester.

I have quite a bit of information about these families, especially George MESSIER b. 1840 in Canada, Marie Philomene BROUSSEAU (his 1st wife) and her family. I also have information on the CLAING family.

I have researched these families for many years, tracking them from Europe to Canada to the United States.

I would love to hear from anyone researching these families and any connections to them.
