The Twisted Branches of the Struck/Eby Tree
My father is John Wesley Struck, b 10/3/1926, m Susan May Jenkins-Nelson, b 4/18/1936. My father's father is Johann Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Struck, b 2/16/1882 in Wisconsin, d 8/2/1962 Spokane, WA, m Grace Eliza Cryderman, b 9/20/1890 Ontario, Canada, d 9/17/1965 Spokane, WA. Johann's father was August Wilhelm Struck, b 7/1850 in Prussia, d 1911 Spokane, WA, m Henriette Retzlaff, b 4/1948, d 12/25/1929 Seattle, WA. I am unsure positively who her father and mother were as I have conflicting stories; her death cert says Johann, no mother listed. August's father is also listed as Johann on his death cert and mother is Johannah. And that's as far as they go. I have tried every conceivable avenue to find more on these people to no avail. Are any of you out there Strucks or Retzlaffs? If so, I really would like to hear from you and see what info you may have on these folks, and if you have pics of them, I would really to get those. Anyone related to the Lubins and Udris' of Poland and Latvia?
I am researching for a friend of mine whose father, Edward Francis Lubin, b 8/13/1929, d 7/26/1988, is the son of Charles Lubin, b abt 1900 in either Poland or Latvia. He was married to Elizabeth Smiarowski, possibly of Poland. Edward was married to Bertha Udris, b 11/9/1915, d 9/23/1974. Her father was Albert Udris, b Latvia, m to Bertha, b Poland. Edward Lubin and Bertha Udris were both born in Baltimore, Maryland. I have been able to find next to nothing on these people. Does anyone out there have a family tree for these folks?
