Deaconess Kate Newell Jones was the sister of Ellen Sarah Jones. Sarah ( Nellie ) was married to Samuel Richards Weed.
Harold Barrett Dennie ( 1875-1952 )
Harold Barrett Dennie was born October 4, 1875 in Concord, Middlesex, MA to Frederick Macondray Dennie and Jessie Fremont Barrett. He married Clara May Abbott on January 7, 1897 in Fairhaven, Bristol, MA. We believe he died about 1952 as my mom was 10 at the time and remembers it was around then. (updated he died in 1955 as we have now found where he is buried )
Harold smoked a pipe in later years. He was a salesman for awhile. In 1900 in the NY Census he is listed as living in Erie NY ( Buffalo ) with his wife Clara, son Richard and daughter Marion. He is listed as a clerk for his occupation.

Looking for Mackrodt family from Bronx, NY
I am looking for info on my great grandfather William Mackrodt. He came here from Germany in the early 1900s through Ellis. He was born June 8, 1886 in Berlin Germany. We believe his father's name was Wilhelm but we are not sure. He married Martha Braun/Brown. May 11, 1911 in Manhattan, NY. They had 4 children. Anne (b. 1914 ), Freddie ( b. 1912 my grandfather, died 1953 ), William b. 1915 and died in 1947 in Manhattan, NY and then a 4th child Metha ( Martha ) born about 1906. She is listed in the 1920 census but not the 1930. She also was William's daughter but not sure if she was Martha's as she was born before they were married. I do not know when or where Martha or William died or where they are buried. When my grandfather Freddie died he was cremated and his ashes were given to his father William. Both William and Martha also are listed as going to either Florida Keys or Havana Cuba.

4086 Park Avenue seems to have belonged to Martha as she sold it to a Antonia Schmidt Jan 5 1920 but am not sure because of the wording.

Frances Ten Eyck Walker was Born to John Quincy Adams Walker and Mary Jane Campbell on November 18, 1873 in Chicago IL. She died November 29, 1919 in Montclair, New Jersey. She was married to Nathan Herbert Weed.

Frances was a member of D.A.R. which is the Daughters of the American Revolution. The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded on October 11, 1890, during a time that was marked by a revival in patriotism and intense interest in the beginnings of the United States of America. Women felt the desire to express their patriotic feelings and were frustrated by their exclusion from men's organizations formed to perpetuate the memory of ancestors who fought to make this country free and independent. As a result, a group of pioneering women in the nation's capital formed their own organization and the Daughters of the American Revolution has carried the torch of patriotism ever since.

Barent Ten Eyck, (1740-1810), was quartermaster in Capt. Isaac Bogart's company in the regiment of levies commanded by John Harper for service on the frontier,1780. He was born in Livingston, N. Y., and died in Staatzie, N. Y.
She was an ardent genealogist which her love of family history was passed down to her son.
Frances died in 1919 after a long battle with breast cancer at their home at 61 South Fullerton Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey. She had attended Toronto University in Canada. Her son Nathan came and took care of her while she was sick. Years later he would come and help his own son battle with his disease.
