Hi! I am currently trying to research my WELLS famil history. My grandfather THOMAS HENRY WELLS was born in sunderland england in 1908,
he travelled to Australia with his parents Thomas H & Beatrice Wells (nee ormston) he was around 10-12 years of age. His father was apparently connected to arcitecture on the Sydney harbour & Brisbane coathanger bridge. While here in Australia Grandfather had a disagreement with his father and ran away. His parents could not find him and returned to England without him. He was around 12 years of age and had a sister called Beatrice. I have since discovered his parents had another child on their return to England and named him Lancelot Ormston Wells b 1922. Lancelot was killed in ww2 on the 7th July 1942. He was a sailor in the merchant Navy. This means my grandfather was 14 living in Australia never knowing he had a brother.
I would appreciate any links to this wells family as I seem to be going around in circles.
