I am Stuck on JAMES W. McCURDY he was a Bridge builder...don't know if he was a architec or just a laborer but he was working on the canadian pacific railroad bridge in winnipeg manatoba canada. he had a son born in winnipeg in 1871 " ARTHUR H. McCURDY. James died i am told in 1882 but I can't find any records. he was of scotch deasent his father being WILLIAM McCURDY of scotland. James had a brother who lived in Quebec Canada named ALEXANDER McCURDY he raised a large family there.James married HELLON PRESOCT whose family came across on the mayflower.
