I am proud of my American heritage. My roots extend back to early America -- several of my ancestors arrived in the mid-1500s, early 1600s and others came to California mostly before the Gold Rush. Two of my great grandparents along with family and friends travelled to California on a covered wagon in the second largest wagon caravan after the Donner Party.
