Hi All-

Great-grandmother has eluded me for three decades! The idea is remote... but perhaps someone on this site could help?

According to records found in the US, Meggie Buckley, my g-grandmother, was born in Scotland to parents from Ireland.
She emigrated to the US (arriving in New York and living in Michigan) in 1869 or 1870, was married in 1872, had five children,
and died in 1893. Different records indicate her year of birth was somewhere between 1852 and 1855. No place of birth references
(other than Scotland) are found, only that her parents are Irish.

Passenger lists contain many immigrants with the name, so are not helpful at this point. I was able to locate a christening record
from a church at Gateshead, England that somewhat fits, but I am not confident in it.

Well, there it is. Any suggestions or direction would be appreciated more that you know. Thank you for reading my post!
