Thomas Sharpe ( Sergeant, 2nd Troop, 3rd Brigade, Horse Artillery ) & Mary had Alfred, (Lahore,25/12/1848, Thomas George, Lahore 11/5/1852), Charles James, (Umballa, 12/10/1854).

My maternal Great-Grandfather - Charles James Sharpe a guard for the East India Railway, married Rose Clarke,(5/3/1866 Cork, Ireland)in Asansol, 1887.

Charles and Rose had 8 children, I have found the birth certificates of Emma, Kathleen, Maud, Mabel and Charles, but not Mercy, Millicent or Muriel, (my Grandmother).

Muriel married adopted Donald Macdonald,(new Father, also Donald Macdonald, a Warehouseman),( born to Agnes Ritchie, of Pitsligo, Aberdeen, Scotland, in July 1898, in Edinburgh, named James Orr Ritchie).

Agnes Ritchie's father was a Ship's Chandler.

Any help would be much appreciated.
