According to bible records, David Reid was born in S.C. Nov. 07, 1795 and married Susannah Hamilton abt. 1819 probably in S.C. or Tn.
Susannahs parents were John Hamilton and Martha Greer from Pendleton Dist. in S.C.
I know David Reid had a brother named William M. but can not connect these Reids to any others in S.C.
I'm told David was the son of David Reid and Elizabeth Nance from around the Pendleton or Newberry co. area, but I have no proof.
Does anyone know of this David Reid from S.C. or Lincoln co., Tn?
