A little breakthrough to a dead end again
Looking for Elise Minna Johanna SOCHTING who married Johann Franz Joseph Wesche in the 1880s. Johann died in 1943 in Hamburg. Excited to trace any descendants of Johann and Minna The only information we have of her is in his death certificate where she signed her name as Minna Wesche.
We appreciate any information received.
Schwenke/Schwencke Family Trail to Germany :)
Most of the research traced and documented on Julius Schwenke that went to Samoa has gone back to 1540.
Thanks to Karl Julius Schwenke of USA who visited Washington DC and copied a lot of records, to Tina Schwenke who shared the infos of that research. Thanks to Sandy Wesche Tevaga who followed and connected to family members in New York and in Germany, to archives and the newspapers and universities who had information to share.
The family are well into all fields of profession. But today I would love to share some akin thoughts to
Johann Arnold Minder who was my ggggrand uncle of the Schwenke line.
Johann Arnold Minder was born in 1 Nov 1770 in Hamburg, and died 6 Dec 1839. He was married to Maria Zornickle of Hamburg daughter of Tobias Martin Zornickle and Mette Maria Zeeche.
Johann Arnold Minder is a writer and poet. He has written a few manuscripts, and I have just received photocopies of his 2 manuscript. Now in the process of interpretation.
I feel closer to this ancestor, and looking forward to sit before him and learn more about his heart and soul in his writing... by the way I love reading / writing / and poetry... :) <3
