I am seeking information on an (african american)Gardner family particularily Munroe or Monroe Gardner born abt. 1872 or 1873 in Alabama. 1930 census shows his parent was born in Virgina. Any information on Gardner's in the virginia area and alabama area would be greatly appreciated.

I am seeking information on Mattie Crenshaw(african american) born in Mississippi abt. 1873 or 1843 parent is not listed on 1930 census as to where they were born she married a Munroe or Monroe Gardner later moved to Arkansas (Crittenden County) Any information would be greatly appreciated.
