COCHRAN(E)

My Great Great Grandfather HUGH HALL COCHRAN(E) was a watch and clock maker in LURGAN, Northern Ireland in the very early 1800s, I wonder is anyone out there that is related to him ? If so please get in touch,

Also I wonder are there any COCHRAN(E) clocks or whatches still around, if so where are they now.?

HUGH HALL COCHRAN(E) Hugh junior was my Great Grandfather who moved to NEW ROSS in Co WEXFORD, IRELAND and was also a watch and clock maker, he was also commissioned to make the 'Tholsel' (Town Hall) clock, which I believe is still working perfectly.

Any information about the COCHRAN(E)s gratefully recieved

Searching for information about Mary Cochran

Mary Cochran born in Lurgan Northern Ireland about 1836, She emigrated to Sydney Australia, she became fairly well known as a Pianoforte School Conservatorium . In 1914 she published her first book sight reading Pianoforte Tutor.

Does anyone have any knowledge or information of my great aunt Mary Cochran.

Her parents evidently went out with Mary to Australia, but must have returned to Ireland as they are both buried in Ireland .
I look forward to hearing from some of you.
