JP_Smith on Family Tree Circles

That was a sad ending for an interesting life. Adolph emigrated from Einbeck, Niedersachsen, Germany. He was born 06 MAY 1843 and rejected the radical political life, choosing to become an immigrant 15 Feb. 1867, settling in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, then moving his family to Madison county, Indiana, USA.

I would appreciate suggestions for finding his German parents.

SMITH family members helped found the Baptist church in late 1700's Manchester, Vermont. Several cousins and myself have written letters over the years asking how we may examine, get copies, or otherwise access records of the early church to uncover documentation of our early families. We receive absolute silence in response to our queries even when they are directly addressed to present day administrative employees. Any ideas how to research these records? Thanks, J. P. OK, no snickering or groaning allowed... I am looking for the birthplace or parents of John SMITH. It's not as hopeless as it may seem on face value. John b:1745 married a good Quaker girl named Mary BULL b:1748 in the Beekman Patent, Dutchess county, New York. Her brother Thomas BULL married John's sister, Martha A. and they all farmed and fought in the Revolution with the Green Mountain Boys in Bennington county, Vermont.

I am interested in hiring a researcher to plop themselves in the Manchester Town Clerk's archive to systematically sift through the holdings for information about this SMITH family.
