JP_Smith on Family Tree Circles
By J.P. Smith, long suffering SMITH researcher in Arizona.
Being a middle child, I suppose it was difficult to find my place in a family of six with an extended family of dozens of cousins. Along came family history, genealogy and BAM, it hit me that this was an avenue to contribute to the family and find my voice by writing family histories. It has been very satisfying to provide a sense of place and history to our family members and a thrill to discover unknown cousins with their stories.
Sitting at a computer is not conducive to maintaining a healthy body and that is why I get out to explore the mountains and even build trails.
