My ggg grandfather, William Ludlow Hudson was a widower at the age of 57 when he married Catherine Glennie in 1835 according to Anglican Church Recorder, River Herbert, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia.

He did not provide the names of his parents.

I am attempting to locate his previous marriages.

The difficulty in searching is the lack of middle initial.

I did locate a William Hudson born in the County of London, England in 1777, and a marriage certificate for William Hudson in the County of London in England at Westminster St. George Square. However no birth date of name of parents. He married an Elizabeth Cosway. I did searches on her name and could not locate a death certificate.

Family lines past by word of mouth claims he came from Perth near London England, went to the US and then to Nova Scotia.

Any help appreciated.
