my great grandfather named John Stanley was born in 1847 in Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, England according to census records although I've not been able to locate a copy of his birth certificate. His father also named John Stanley was born in Ireland again according to census records possibly in the 1820s. According to the marriage certificate of great grandfather at Warwicks.in 1872 his father's profession was Domestic Servant. They were a Catholic family.
I would be grateful if anyone can provide any information on the family of John Stanley in Ireland prior to 1847.
